With a passion for improving special education programming and in-school mental health/counseling services, Taylor offers on-site training for educators and school-based mental health professionals on topics such as: trauma-informed classrooms, effective school counseling interventions, increasing equitable access to education for all learners, suicide prevention, and mandated reporting best practices. Using her experience as a Child Study Team case manager, related service provider, and in-community mental health provider, Taylor offers educational advocacy services to students and their families. Such services include: reviewing special education documents (evaluations, IEPs, 504 plans, etc.) with parents prior to Child Study Team meetings and attending meetings with parents/students to advocate for services and support.
